Addy in One-derland
We had the big 1st birthday celebration this past weekend, after 2 months of planning and weeks of preparation, it all just fell into place the last couple days. I was inspired by the 1st birthday that Lark & Lola threw for her daughter Eisley. I'm going to post A.LOT. of pictures, be prepared! (click to enlarge)
First, decorations.
The banner
Centerpieces
Welcome Wreath
Close up of the wreath.
Lark & Lola gives a GREAT tutorial for the wreath. It was very simple to follow and turned out awesome, even for me, the girl who THINKS she's super crafty, but really isn't.
The people that helped us celebrate
The dress
The cake(made it myself, my first attempt at fondant, not too shabby me thinks)
"TOO.MUCH.SUGAR"
annnnd in the eye...
The Fun
Addy and Daddy(because of course there are NO pictures of Addy and I from that day)
Addy had a great time and I hope all that attended did as well. I'm off to do thank you notes!

The Big ONE
I have so many thoughts running through my head about how I feel about Addy turning 1. So many emotions, so many memories, so many things I want to say that if I write it all here it would take forever, and really no one would want to read it. So for now, I'm just going to show all the awesome pictures from yesterday. Since her party is actually next Saturday we just did small things to celebrate with her, even though she won't remember. I will and really it's just Jeff and I celebrating that we all made it to ONE...alive! :)
Those were the exciting parts of our day, the rest was the usual, naps and running around making mom crazy. I'm hoping to update later with my one year letter to her and the rest of her 12 MonthDay pictures! See you then. ;)
"Hi mom! I'm ONE! Can you believe it?"
We got changed out of pjs and got our 12 MonthDay pictures done
She just had to have her foot in the picture
I made funky pancakes for breakfast
and hope to make it a birthday tradition
She enjoyed them
side note: I cut the portion out to get an inside picture of the pancakes, but realized I should have taken a picture of them with her first then took the picture, especially since the inside picture didn't even turn out that well. oh well. live and learn
Then we did some acrobatics with Dad
I made cupcakes for after a meeting at Jeff's work
We invited some of our friends that were at the meeting over for a cupcake or two. This is Alana. She is the sweetest little girl and the 2 just adore each other.
CUPCAKE!!
She loved it!
And ate the whole thing
